Doug Davidson

As the Associate Director of Sports Performance and Strength & Conditioning Coach at Vegas Golden Knights, I lead and oversee the delivery of evidence-based and athlete-centered programs that enhance performance, reduce injury risk, and optimize recovery. I have close to a decade of experience in high performance sport, working with athletes across various levels, disciplines, and contexts. I also have a proven track record collaborating with other key stakeholders including sports medicine, nutrition, and mental health professionals; as well as management, coaches, scouts, and other hockey operations staff.

My areas of expertise include long term athletic development, athlete assessment and monitoring, sport specific conditioning, integrated performance enhancement, rehab and reconditioning. I hold a Master's of Science in Kinesiology with a dual specialization in Sport Conditioning and Exercise and Sport Psychology, as well as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) credential from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). I am passionate about applying the latest research and best practices to help athletes achieve their full potential and excel in their sport.
